How do I get started using MOTIS?

Motis has three web sites to help you get started. TryMotis.iotrakit.com (which is the site you're on now.')
MotisAdmin.iotrakit.com used to configure and administer your system.
Motis.iotrakit.com used to process your items.

TryMotis is where you learn how Motis and MotisAdmin work together to administer and configure your system.
You also use TryMotis to Register as a new user.
You only need to register once then use MotisAdmin to start configuring your system.
MotisAdmin is where you do the actual configuration of your system.
Motis is where you process your items once everything has been configured with MotisAdmin.

What kind of items can I track with MOTIS

You can track any kind of item that has a unique barcode or serial number.


How many items can I track

Motis can handle an unlimited number of items, but may be limited based on your subscription tier.


What information can I track

You can track the customer name, the item's serial number, the item name, item model, item number and the item's status or location.


What are the satuses and locations?

You actually define status or location, then use them when you log an item.


How many satuses and locations are allowed?

You decide how many, but defining fewer is much easier to manage..
